What we do
Our specialist data recovery engineers can extract data from storage devices that are not functioning or physically damaged and adjust and repair internal file system structures to allow access to the database files. We are able to recover RAW database fragments and rebuild database files to compile a report showing which items are recoverable, for example tables and rows, mailboxes, etc., including deleted data.
Database File Recovery Process
Our two-stage data recovery process always allows you to view the recoverable files before you decide to proceed with a recovery. Once you have decided to proceed with a recovery, we extract the data from the corrupted database / information store and copy out to external USB drive.
• Database error/ corruption
• System table corruption
• Dropped database
• Suspect database
• Corrupted .mdf
Common causes of database data loss include:
• Physical damage to the hard disk, SAN or RAID
• Damage or corruption at the file system level
• File level damage – data loss can occur where the internal structure of a file is damaged
