Hard drive data recovery becomes more complicated when a failed drive is part of a RAID array. In these situations we are able to provide unmatched resources – including our own proprietary technology to recover your data. Our engineers are experienced in recovering from all RAID systems, vendor specific and proprietary, and are familiar with MAC, UNIX, FAT and VMware RAIDs.
We also support proprietary RAID systems; our R&D engineers will create bespoke tools to recover data from your proprietary and unusual RAID systems.

RAID recovery – service options

We offer a range of service options to cater to your budget and level of urgency. All Service options follow our two-step process where you are always able to view a list of recoverable files before you decide to proceed with a recovery or not.   

• Remote services
  If your RAID has only one failed drive or if it is experiencing logical issues, we can perform the recovery remotely with our patented Remote Data Recovery Service (RDR). There is no need to dismantle and ship the hard drives to us. RDR is available in situations like a simple file deletion, lost partitions, formats or even complete loss of RAID configuration. RDR is by far the fastest data recovery option.
• In-lab data services
  For situations where your RAID has multiple failed drives, our engineers will utilise our clean rooms to recover your data. All logical failures can also be completed in-lab. The failed drives you send to our lab will be returned to you in exactly the same condition as you sent them. Your recovered data will be transferred onto an external USB or FireWire drive.
• On-site data services
  In situations where moving your storage media requires too much downtime, or if your security policies don’t allow for media to be moved off-site, our data recovery engineers can come to your facility and perform the recovery on-site. 

Development for proprietary systems
Our R&D team is always prepared to create bespoke software and tools to handle any proprietary system. We can develop tools to recovery data from almost any RAID, even old or generally unsupported systems.
