What we do

Our SQL recovery tools are designed to recover the data contained in the .MDF file. Where files are inaccessible due to problems with the storage device our clean room engineers work to extract the data at the hard disk level. If the file is missing, deleted or truncated because of problems with the file system, work is done to adjust or repair the file system to correctly point to the file’s data stream.

Even in cases where the file has no pointers at all in the file system our tools allow us to search the entire drive looking for SQL data. Once the .MDF file is located our tools analyze its complex internal structure and provide a report listing the tables and number of data rows that are recoverable. Once you have reviewed the report and decided to proceed with a recovery we copy the data into another SQL server database. Once this is complete we can backup or archive the recovered data, depending on your needs.

Supported Versions of SQL

Microsoft SQL 6.5 – Typically one or more large .DAT files. Table information is extracted from the bad database and new tables are created in a new database. We provide full support for this version, including for tables and deleted row information.

Microsoft SQL 7.0 – Similar to SQL 6.5, database file names are typically .MDF

Microsoft SQL 2000 – Similar to SQL 7.0

Microsoft SQL 2005 – Similar to SQL 7.0
